'Practice Makes Perfect' for the Commonwealth Lawyers Association

In an exciting communications partnership, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and ITN Productions are producing a long-form current-affairs style programme, hosted by News Anchor Nastasha Kaplinksy. Drawing upon ITN’s 60-year heritage and expertise in storytelling, we will be exploring the future of one of Britain’s most successful and enduring exports – the law.

‘Practise makes Perfect: upholding the rule of law in the global community’ will provide a unique platform to look at the bigger picture and challenges facing lawyers throughout the 52 countries of the Commonwealth. We will examine current challenges for the profession including areas such as, the use of the Death Penalty in the Commonwealth; Cybercrime, the use of Drones, and Prisoners’ rights while incarcerated. We will take a unique look at how members of the Commonwealth are building on the rule of law to combat fraud, theft and exploitation.

This intriguing programme will feature news-style reports, case studies, sponsored editorial profiles and interviews with leading legal identities. It will launch at the 20th Commonwealth Law Conference in Melbourne, Australia from 21-24 March 2017. The programme will form part of a communications campaign featuring CLA members, professional partners influencing individuals as well as journalists, writers and bloggers.
